If a vehicle doesn't meet our strict criteria, we won't certify it. It's that simple.  Each vehicle must pass a rigorous 169 point-by-point inspection by our Ford factory-trained technicians. Only those vehicles that pass can become Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. 

Each Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle also undergoes a comprehensive mechanical reconditioning process during certification. To ensure the highest standard of quality is met, only new, Genuine Ford, Motorcraft® or Ford-authorized replacement parts are used during this reconditioning.
 

Extended Warranty
Peace of mind comes standard on every Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle since each includes 6-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty coverage, backed by Ford Motor Company. The  Comprehensive Limited Warranty covers more than 500 components, including high-tech parts.

Service available at any Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership nationwide.  Our manufacturer-backed limited warranty is fully transferable to future owners at no cost, a resale benefit that can be transferred from owner to owner.
  
 
Roadside Assistance
Every CPO Ford will come with Roadside Assistance coverage.  Roadside Assistance is available to you through the 50 United States and will:

• Mount your spare if you have a flat tire.
• Jump start for dead batteries.
• Unlock your vehicle if you are locked out (doesn't include the cost of making spare keys).
• Bring you fuel if you run out, up to 2 gallons of gasoline of 5 gallons of diesel at no charge.
• Tow your disabled vehicle to the nearest qualified Ford Dealership with in 35 miles.
• Notify the police for you if you need assistance.

152-Point Inspection
Each Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle passes a thorough 152-point inspection. It will be checked inside and out, from the undercarriage to under the hood. Anything not up to Subaru's high standards will be repaired, reconditioned or replaced.You can buy with confidence, because every Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with a Subaru-backed, nationally accepted and recognized, 6-year, 100,000-mile powertrain coverage. Subaru Roadside Assistance is free and standard on every Subaru from model year 2000 forward. Coverage is automatic; there are no forms to complete. Subaru Roadside Assistance is available anytime during the 3-year/36,000-mile Subaru Limited Warranty, whichever comes first.**

• Towing to the nearest authorized Subaru dealer if you cannot safely drive your vehicle.
• Jump-start if your battery is dead
• Gasoline delivery if you run out of gas
• Flat tire change to install your spare
• Emergency lockout service
• National Subaru dealer locator service, with phone numbers and location of the nearest dealer anywhere in the U.S. or Canada
